Why Have an ACF Chapter?

Launching an ACF campus ministry group on your campus will help you connect with other Adventist students and to reach out to fellow students.

It will also make your campus group a legitimate campus ministry fellowship among other student groups on campus allowing your group many campus privileges such as use of campus facilities, recognition for your group and in some cases even some special funding through student fees.

Your ACF chapter can also be the connecting association for a local Adventist church and the larger network of ACF North American Division. This will make available many resources for your group and a connection with the larger sisterhood of fellow ACF students.

Your Hosts

Your public campus ministry champions in the Pacific Northwest are John and Sarah Leis. John is the public campus ministries director for Washington Conference and is the Adventist Collegiate Fellowship coordinator for the North Pacific Union Conference.

“I am honored to serve in a role dedicated to fostering the spiritual growth and mission-driven initiatives of our ACF groups on college campuses,” said John Leis. “My aim is to cultivate a robust network of leaders, churches, and ACF student organizations in the Pacific Northwest. Together, we strive to fulfill the mandate of the Three Angels’ Messages and spread the transformative gospel of Christ throughout our diverse communities and beyond.

Front Line Perspective

Joshua Guerrero is a young adult who is currently serving as the Public Campus Ministry coordinator for Wisconsin Conference to provide a space for college students to find community, explore who Jesus is, and raise up leaders and disciple makers for the Gospel.

Growing up in high-school, through a series of battles with depression and anxiety, he encountered Jesus for himself, and found a faith that was real, practical and that provided a life worth living for.

This led to getting involved with youth ministry and loves to empower his generation in launching their faith during these years. In his free time, Joshua enjoys running, ultimate frisbee, kayaking, as well as playing guitar.

Be Part of a Movement!

Whether you’re a student, educator, or community member, this event is your chance to be part of something groundbreaking. There are currently 100-plus chapters of Adventist Collegiate Fellowship (ACF) in North America, and now expanding into the Pacific Northwest.
