Alaska Conference members are invited to participate in a 6-question Members Survey as part of the presidential search process. When there is a change in leadership, we have a fresh call to prayer to be in the center of God’s will. Please use the next several months to pray for the Holy Spirit’s leading in the selection process. Thank you for sharing your insights and perspectives through this survey.

The online survey is available until Monday, October 28.

What to expect in the presidential search process:

  1. The overall process is expected to take 3-4 months.
  2. There are two surveys: one for members and one for local church and conference leaders.
  3. The survey results will be collected and collated by NPUC and provided to Alaska Conference executive committee.
  4. Suggested names of candidates will be assessed by the needs and strengths noted in the surveys along with administrative skills, relational skills, and experience.
  5. Qualified persons will be asked to consider being on a list of potential candidates.
  6. The executive committee will meet throughout the process to pray and work through the election process.
  7. Once the top ranked candidate is identified, this person will have an in-person interview.
  8. With a successful interview, the top ranked candidate will be extended a call to pray about and then accept or decline.

Your participation in the survey and your prayers are invaluable as we navigate this significant transition. Thank you for sharing your insights and perspectives through this survey, and for your continued dedication to Alaska Conference.
