About:

Do you long for a place to serve your community where they are happy to see your face? Do you wish to bring hope and dignity to your neighbors and friends that seem tattered and torn by everyday life? Do you dream of inspiring your friends, family, and neighbors to give regularly to creating a more caring and equitable community?

Come and learn how to connect these dreams together by learning how to create an Adventist Thrift Ministry (ATM) store or outpost. You’ll have the opportunity to learn how to create a vision, assemble a team, assess your community’s needs and resources, and then create the right-sized outpost to serve your community. You’ll learn from some of the most experienced operators of thrift stores in the Pacific Northwest. And you’ll get to see and touch the nitty gritty of what it takes to process and sell hundreds to thousands of items per month.

When:

  • February 23, 24 and 26, 2023 at SonBridge ACS Center — Norman Thiel and Tim Zollbrecht, Instructors
